Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist II Program
Full Time-Day program: 8:oo-2:oo Mon-Thurs & every other Saturday 8-5 and requires the attendance of Two Qi Gong weekends time to complete is 45 weeks excluding holidays and breaks
Part Time-Evening program: 5:30-9:30 Mon-Tues & Thurs & every other Saturday 8-5 time to complete is 78 weeks excluding holidays and breaks
Program Objective: The objective of the Massage/Bodywork Therapy II program is to train students to acquire satisfactory skills and to demonstrate competence in massage and bodywork. Upon satisfactory completion of the training, students will be qualified to sit for the NCTMB NELS Exam or Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) Exam. Both are national exams check with your state to see which exam your state accepts for licensure. A passing grade on the national exam will enable the student to apply to the state of Nebraska as well as most other states licensed states for licensure as a massage therapist. Once licensed, the student can apply for entry-level positions as a massage therapist. Massage/Bodywork Therapy II Graduation Requirements
Maintain a 2.0 overall GPA, good attendance, proof of current First Aid/ CPR, and complete all of the following coursework and all required exams both written and practical. See catalog section for course details. Upon graduation the students will awarded a diploma and be recognized as a Certified Massage & Bodywork Therapist.
