Kathy Spencer Jensen LMT
Kathy is a graduate of the Hakomi Integrative Somatics Institute, Boulder Colorado.  She is the curriculum director, co-owner, and a founding member of Bio-Chi Institute of Massage Therapy. Kathy began practicing Massage/Bodywork Therapy in 1978 and has earned certified practitioner/therapist status in 15 different styles of Bodywork Therapy.  She is recognized as an Internationally Certified Instructor in 5 different styles of Massage/Bodywork Therapy, ordained minister, developed Psycho-Bio Psychology, and has been a professional educator and speaker since 1985.  Kathy was appointed by Gov. Vilsak to serve on the Massage Therapy Board of Examiners in Iowa and was elected as Chairperson for three terms.  In 2005, Kathy and 9 other educators from around the country initiated the formation of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Board. FSMTB is a national regulatory board for all states that regulate the practice of Massage/Bodywork Therapy. Kathy was elected by 43 states as a Director of FSMTB in 2006. At BCI she teaches Advanced Pathology, Somatic Bodywork, Business, Intuitive Massage, Sensorimotor Psychology, and Trans-generational Trauma.
